Falcon2 series of Cameralink cameras
Stemmer Imaging is offering the Falcon2 series of Cameralink cameras from Teledyne Dalsa, which is suitable for electronics manufacturing, semiconductor wafer inspection, flat-panel display inspection and solar-panel inspection — as well as applications where throughput, resolution and dynamic range are important.
The series features CMOS sensors — the same as those used in Teledyne Dalsa’s Genie TS cameras — as well as programmable exposure time and frame rate using either the Cameralink interface or external hardware signals.
In-camera image pre-processing enables flat field correction, while true global shuttering removes unwanted smear and time displacement image artifacts.
The Falcon2 series is made up of three Genicam-compliant models that include the Cameralink interface. Each is housed in a rugged and thermally efficient body that does not require an external cooling system.
