Stemmer Imaging is supplying the Ueye CP camera range from IDS, which is suitable for industrial operations such as the triggering of control or peripheral devices — as well as data rich applications.
The Ueye camera series features the USB 3.0 interface — which is backwards compatible with existing USB 2.0 systems — a 12bit lookup table, hardware gamma correction and hardware-based data preprocessing.
Additionally, it includes IDS’ software package for Windows and Linux that enables the mixed operation of USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and GigE cameras without the need to change any settings.
The range of devices also has a magnesium housing, two general purpose I/Os (which can be changed into a RS232 serial interface) and offers trigger and flash. As power is supplied through a USB bus no additional power cable is required.
The series is made up of three sensors that range from VGA to 5 megapixel resolution.
