Engineers and scientists now have a new option for connecting two-, three- and four-wire RTDs to measurement and automation systems.
Engineers and scientists now have a new option for connectingtwo-, three- and four-wire RTDs to measurement and automationsystems with two new modules for National Instruments FieldPointdistributed I/O system.
With the FP-RTD-PT100-3 andFP-RTD-PT100-4 dual-channel RTD input modules, users canintegrate low-channel counts of RTD into their industrialmonitoring systems with the two-, three- and four-wire RTD sensorthat best suits their application requirements.
By offering atwo-channel solution, the modules can help engineers andscientists to achieve mixed signal, low-channel countapplications, such as temperature monitoring.
The new RTDFieldPoint dual-channel modules feature 12bit resolution andextend the existing FieldPoint product line.
All FieldPointanalogue input modules include input-output isolation to providedifferential analogue signals, Hot PnP plug and playautoconfiguration to maximise the ease of configuration andinstallation, and onboard diagnostics for virtually trouble-freeinstallation and maintenance.
FieldPoint dual-channel modulesoffer advanced features and more flexibility, which expandNational Instruments distributed measurement line and offer lowchannel count modules ideal for mixed signal applications.
