Multipix Imaging introduces Camera Link frame grabbers featuring the ECCO facility
Multipix Imaging
Multipix Imaging is now offering Camera Link frame grabbers from Euresys that implement extended Camera Link cable operation (ECCO).
According to the company, this feature allows Grablink Full, Dual Base and Base to go beyond the Camera Link specifications in terms of speed and/or cable length.
Depending on the clock frequency and the quality of the cable, which can vary from one cable to another, ECCO allows the Grablink boards to operate with cable lengths in excess of 30 per cent, compared with those specified by the Camera Link standard.
This additional 30 per cent cable length between the camera and the PC is available with the Grablink Full, Dual Base and Base at no additional cost.
