Miniaturised sensors for force and pressure
RDP Electronics
Model 13 and Model S
RDP has added to its miniaturised sensors with the Model 13, a subminiature compression load cell, and the Model S, a miniature flush diaphragm gauge pressure transducer.
RDP has added to its miniaturised sensors with the Model 13, asubminiature compression load cell, and the Model S, a miniatureflush diaphragm gauge pressure transducer.
The most compact Model13 load cell is less than 10mm in diameter and only 3.3mm thick, and yet it has a maximum capacity of 1kg.
Even the highest rangeof 1000lbs is still less than 20mm diameter and less than 9mmthick.
The miniature Model S flush diaphragm gauge pressuretransducer is ideal for applications involving a pressure mediumwhich solidifies over a period of time.
The rugged threaded bodyof the Model S is less than 15mm in diameter and yet is suitablefor pressure ranges up to 20,000psi.
