Keyence launches digital microscope to satisfy range of challenging observation applications
Keyence
VHX-1000 digital microscope
Keyence has introduced the VHX-1000 digital microscope, which is said to combine high-performance digital microscopy with precision measurement to satisfy a range of challenging observation applications.
The VHX-1000 series delivers a 16-bit imaging resolution that makes subtle colour differences visible and optimises areas that are too dark or too bright to see, according to the company.
The brightness range has been increased from the previous 256 levels to 65,536 levels; in addition, the 3CCD colour clarity has increased from 16 million to more than 2.8 trillion colours.
The VHX is designed to recognise, in real time, which lens is mounted to the camera as well as the current magnification.
