LED modules
IDEC Electronics has introduced a series of light-emitting-diode (LED) illumination modules suitable for panel lighting or work areas that need a super-bright light source.
LED technology offers the advantages of low-voltage power (24VDC), coupled with energy savings, long life and low heat generation, according the company.
The LF1A series, which is IP40 rated, offers three sizes featuring two rows of either three, six or 12 LEDs.
These are available in cool white, warm white, yellow or red.
The LF1B series, which is IP54 rated, is similar in size to conventional fluorescent lights and offers a single row of three, six, 12 or 24 LEDs.
The colours available are transparent or a diffused white.
Finally, the LF1D series can be obtained as a single row of 10 LEDs or as a double row of seven LEDs.
The LF1D is IP67f rated and, as such, can be used in environments subject to water, dust and oil.
These units are said to be suitable for those looking for a safe, low-voltage, low-heat-generation, super-bright light source.
