Framos is offering the GigE camera series from Smartek, which is suitable for use by design engineers and systems integrators in machine-vision applications.
The units are compliant with GigE Vision and Gencam, and support ’plug-and-play’ capability for camera attachment using an Ethernet network.
The cameras also feature a range of Aptina CMOS and Sony CCD image sensors.
According to the company, the units create minimal thermal noise, have low power consumption and can synchronise effectively with strobe illumination.

- Use industrial standards for example, C-mount, Hirose-plug and RJ45-plug for CAT5e or CAT6 cables
