E-con offers daughter board for HD video recording
E-con Systems
e-CAM50\\_OMAP35x daughter board
E-con has launched 5MP high-definition (HD) camera solutions for OMAP35x processors from Texas Instruments, for applications such as OCR, HD video recording and facial recognition.
The high-definition camera can do a 720p at 30fps, enabling the capture of moving objects.
The e-CAM50\\_OMAP35x daughter board measures 8.5 x 8.5 x 5.75mm and has an Omnivision OV5642 camera module that can be directly interfaced on the TI TMDXEVM3530 EVM board.
Logically, it connects to the high-speed CMOS sensor interface of the TI OMAP35x.
The TI OMAP35x processors offer high processing power due to their Superscalar ARM Cortex-A8 core, which runs at 600MHz.
