Digital microscope gives 1 to 500x magnification
Moritex
MSX-500Di
Moritex has brought out the MSX-500Di Digital Microscope, which incorporates a high quality CCD imaging system and adjustable high-intensity LED lighting.
This allows it to deliver sharp and well-lit images from 1 to 500x magnification without needing to change lenses.
One-dial operation ensures changing magnification and focusing is easy.
The system's LED lighting is arranged in two concentric rings.
By selecting combinations of the LED arrays in the inner and outer rings, subject lighting can be optimised to highlight features or eliminate unwanted reflections.
The MSX-500Di's LCD screen makes it simple to operate.
A freeze button allows simple switching between still images and video mode.
The MSX-500Di can also call up and display recorded images for comparative tasks.
It can be controlled and file-transfers can be made through its USB connection.
The MSX-500Di features a 3.5in TFT LCD monitor and SD card flash memory storage, making it suitable for micro inspection and data archiving tasks in gemstone inspection, in-situ conservation, forensic analysis, electronic circuit board / component inspection, customs inspection and biological micro-investigations.
