Cole-Parmer offers benchtop spectrometer for applications such as research and academia
Cole-Parmer
Picospin benchtop NMR spectrometer
The Picospin 45L benchtop NMR spectrometer from Cole-Parmer is suitable for use within research, manufacturing processes and academia.
The compact, portable machine features a stable, temperature-controlled permanent magnet that enables operation without liquid cryogens.
Liquid samples are injected into the machine’s internal capillary via front-panel fittings. The fluid capillary is situated inside a cartridge that can be replaced in the event of a blockage or contamination.
According to the company, the unit does not require specialised knowledge or training in order to use it and is maintenance-free.
Additionally, NMR is generated in the JCAMP-DX format — enabling compatibility with standard NMR data analysis packages.
Key specifications
- Analyses liquid samples with at least 100ppb resolution
- Requires 20 microlitres of sample fluid to obtain a spectrum
- Weighs 5kg
