Alrad introduces USB 3.0 camera from Artray

The ARTCAM-900MI-USB3.0 is the first of a USB 3.0 camera range being launched by the Japanese CMOS and CCD camera specialist Artray.
The ARTCAM-900MI-USB3.0 has a 9megapixel Aptina 1/2.3in format CMOS sensor with 3,488 x 2,616 pixels and a rolling shutter.
The camera will deliver 11 frames per second (fps), as compared with 3fps for its USB 2.0 predecessor.
The body has a standard C-mount fitting and power is supplied via the USB 3.0 interface, which makes the camera suitable for many different applications.
Optional items that can be supplied with the camera include a software development kit, software for two-dimensional measurements, sequence recording software and a Labview DLL.
