Adept partners with online resource for engineers
Adept Scientific
Online technical resource
Adept Scientific has announced a partnership with Knovel (www.knovel.com), an online technical resource created for applied scientists and practising engineers.
Available via an annual subscription this interactive internet-based tool provides access to more than 1,800 leading reference works and databases from more than 40 international publishers and professional societies through a single interface.
Knovel delivers relevant and reliable full-text search results and features interactive digital objects, including charts, tables and graphs.
What makes Knovel stand apart from other reference sources is that the rich data contained in charts, tables and graphs are recognised and returned by Knovel's optimised search.
Engineers can then use Knovel's interactive features to manipulate the results as required by their work.
Focusing on industries including aerospace and defence, oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech, manufacturing and design and construction industries, Knovel currently has 19 subject areas available.
Subscriptions are based on how many subject areas are required as well as the number of concurrent licence users.
