Fluke has developed an Energy Efficiency portal on its UK website to help maintenance professionals understand ways to manage energy efficiency in a facility in order to save money. Fluke tools referred to include power analysers, power loggers, thermal-imaging cameras, vibration meters and testers and air monitoring and light meters.
In any electrical installation, some current will flow through the protective ground conductor to ground. This is usually called leakage current. Leakage current most commonly flows in the insulation surrounding conductors and in the filters protecting electronic equipment around the home or office. So what’s the problem? According to Fluke, on circuits protected by residual current devices, leakage current can cause unnecessary and intermittent tripping.
Fluke has expanded the Fluke Connect system with the TI90 and TI95 thermal cameras. These have wireless connectivity, making them suitable for maintenance, troubleshooting, and HVAC/R technicians, electricians, and facility managers who need to collaborate and share measurements with others in their team.
Fluke has introduced Fluke Connect, a system that allows maintenance technicians to wirelessly transmit measurement data from Fluke test tools to their smartphone for secure storage on the cloud, enabling access by any team member in the field.
Fluke has introduced the Fluke 190-504 Series II Scopemeter: a 500MHz bandwidth, four-channel, handheld oscilloscope, which the company claims is the first instrument with these capabilities on the market.
