Fluke introduces 500 series analysers for the testing of storage batteries and battery banks download
Fluke has introduced a range of battery analysers designed to simplify the maintenance, troubleshooting and performance testing of individual storage batteries and battery banks used in critical battery back-up applications.
The Fluke 830 laser shaft alignment tool is said to provide fast, accurate and actionable answers to keep plants up and running. The tool performs complicated calculations automatically and provides the answers needed to quickly align a machine. This eliminates the difficult calculations and guesswork associated with traditional alignment methods and reduces unnecessary replacement parts, repair time and unplanned downtime.
Fluke has developed an Energy Efficiency portal on its UK website to help maintenance professionals understand ways to manage energy efficiency in a facility in order to save money. Fluke tools referred to include power analysers, power loggers, thermal-imaging cameras, vibration meters and testers and air monitoring and light meters.
In any electrical installation, some current will flow through the protective ground conductor to ground. This is usually called leakage current. Leakage current most commonly flows in the insulation surrounding conductors and in the filters protecting electronic equipment around the home or office. So what’s the problem? According to Fluke, on circuits protected by residual current devices, leakage current can cause unnecessary and intermittent tripping.
Fluke has expanded the Fluke Connect system with the TI90 and TI95 thermal cameras. These have wireless connectivity, making them suitable for maintenance, troubleshooting, and HVAC/R technicians, electricians, and facility managers who need to collaborate and share measurements with others in their team.
