Flir Systems offers thermal imaging system software for research and development
Flir Systems
ResearchIR software
ResearchIR software from Flir Systems is designed for use within research and development and science applications for improving the efficiency and productivity of thermal imaging systems.
According to Flir, its ResearchIR software provides facilities for high speed recording and advanced thermal pattern analysis.
It also says that the program will enable researchers to make visible the smallest of temperature differences.
The software includes a range of features for viewing, high-speed imaging and storage, post-processing fast thermal events and generating time-temperature plots from live images or recorded sequences.
Flir has also launched ResearchIR Max, which includes all the features of ResearchIR along with tools for pre/post triggering, mathematical processing and image filtering, radiometric digital detail enhancement and support for parallel recording using multiple cameras.
Key features
- ResearchIR includes the ability to set up advanced start/stop recording conditions
- Users can analyse data with an unlimited number of analysis functions
- Files can be organised rapidly
- Zoom and pan controls for image viewing
- Multiple user-configurable tabs for live images, recorded images or plotting
