Sensor suits noncontact displacement measurement

Lion Precision

ECL101 eddy-current displacement sensor

Lion Precision's ECL101 eddy-current displacement sensor, a CE-compliant version of the original ECL100, offers improved immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and thermal stability.

The ECL101 noncontact sensor also has lower power consumption.

The linear-output sensor is available with a selection of probes, offering measurement ranges from 0.5-15mm, and features a front-panel range indicator to alert the operator to out-of-range conditions.

The sensor has applications in any industry requiring precision noncontact displacement measurement, particularly in a hostile environment involving fluids or debris in the measurement area.

It has a resolution of 0.004-0.06 per cent of range, nonlinearity of +/-0.50 per cent of range.

Temperature drift of probe at mid-range is +/-0.04 per cent of range/C.

Outputs range from 0-10VDC and 0-20mA, while input power is 12-24VDC.
