Aerotech offers miniature linear positioning stages with small footprint and low profile
Aerotech
MPS75SL
Aerotech has introduced the MPS75SL series of miniature linear positioning stages, which are designed for applications in university labs; R&D centres that require precision alignment; or for assembly, test and measurement in industrial production environments.
According to Aerotech, the small-footprint, low-profile design of the MPS75SL is optimised for use of miniature 1mm-pitch precision ballscrews, high-resolution encoders and anti-creep crossed roller bearings for smooth velocity and reduced error motion.
This miniature linear positioning stage is available with a choice of brushed DC motor or open loop stepper motor, both offering a linear positioning resolution to 0.1 microns.
The MPS range is available with optional high-vacuum preparation to 10-6 torr where modified materials, surface preparation, hardware venting, lubrication and other features can be modified for applications within vacuum chambers for manufacturing, inspection, and military/aerospace use.
