Focus 10 software
Nikon Metrology’s Focus 10 software provides support for handheld laser scanning, CMM laser scanning and tactile probing.
Focus 10 features a Microsoft Office 2010-style interface with tabbed ribbon bars that give users direct access to functions needed at every step in the measuring workflow, and an improved screen layout increases the size of the 3D scene for more efficient graphic data analysis.
The latest addition also extends geometric dimensioning and tolerancing support, and includes an automated Fuse point cloud post-processing function, which requires a single mouse click to move from a measured point cloud to a smooth mesh.
Users with portable scanners can now perform acquisition and reporting workflow using one piece of software, use tactile measurements for fast alignment and start scanning straight away.
In addition the ’Fuse’ inspection algorithm automatically combines individual point cloud processing steps and can ensure can data subtraction, merging, filtering and meshing in order to obtain a high-quality geometry data set.
