Luna Technologies has introduced the (Optical Distributed Sensor Interrogator), a distributed temperature and strain-sensing platform that provides thousands of sensing points in a single fibre sensor.
Designed to be inexpensive and easy to deploy, this disposable sensor requires no extra wiring and is immune to EMI/RF interference.
Sensor data can be reprocessed at a later time with more or different sensing points.
ODiSI gathers strain or temperature data along the entire surface under test and allows users to redefine sensing points in post processing.
