Load-testing company uses HBM strain gauges in all measurement and monitoring products

UK load-testing specialist Straightpoint has announced that it now uses HBM strain gauges in all of its force-measurement, load-monitoring and suspended weighing loadcell products.
The company selected HBM to be its sole supplier of strain gauges, enabling it to manufacture a range of products with up to 1,000 tonnes capacity, including Radiolink Plus, a wireless loadcell designed for use in applications such as overhead weighing, bollard pulling and tug testing.

- The range of the wireless load cell is 250m and the unit is calibrated in tonnes
- All of the models in the range utilise push-button control
- The units can be set to display in kg, lb, kN and tonnes
- Supplied with a Crosby hook and lifting eye, with other fittings such as Gunnebo or rod ends available on request
