Honeywell offers pressure sensors with potential industrial and medical applications
Honeywell Sensing and Control
Trustability NCS series
Honeywell has introduced the Trustability NCS series uncompensated/unamplified board-mount pressure sensors, which can be used to provide both monitoring and control of pneumatic flow and system pressure for a variety of potential industrial and medical applications.
Because these pressure sensors are uncompensated and unamplified, they offer infinite resolution on the pressure signal and frequency response is limited only by the end user’s system.
The NSC series features self-calibration, a ratiometric analogue output and stability that Honeywell claims performs better than any other pressure sensor available, even after long-term use and thermal extremes.
According to the company, this quality helps to minimise system calibration needs, maximise system performance and support system uptime by eliminating the need to service or replace the sensor during its application life.
