Omega releases corrosion-resistant loadcells
Omega Engineering
Shear beam loadcells
Omega has introduced a range of shear beam loadcells for wash-down applications.
This new range is claimed to overcome the disadvantages of using lower-spec bending beam models.
The new loadcells have a load range of 250kgf to 9 tonnes, a high side load rejection of 500:1 and a faster return to zero after load removal.
In addition, they have a higher tolerance of dynamic forces and vibration.
Each device is supplied with a free traceable calibration certificate.
They are corrosion resistant and have an IP67 rating.
