Premo offers range of UL-marked sensors for measuring DC, AC and pulse currents on PCBs

Premo

SY series of current sensors

Premo has introduced a series of Hall-effect sensors suitable for measuring DC, AC and pulse currents on printed circuit boards (PCBs).

The SY series of closed-loop sensors provides a double supply voltage of ±12VDC to ±18VDC.

The current sensors — which satisfy high safety requirements and are UL marked — have been designed for nominal currents of 5A, 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A and 50A.

According to the company, the output signal is centred at 0V with an output voltage of ±4V, enabling the detection of currents of up to three times the nominal value.

The series is fully compliant to the following industrial standards: UL94-V0 (plastic case), EN 60947-1:2004, EN 60950-1:2001, EN 50178:1998, UL 508 and CSA C22.2 No 14–10.
