Goepel's Variotap IPs enable testing of a new generation of femtocell chips
Goepel Electroniccontact supplier
Goepel Electronic, a provider of JTAG/Boundary Scan products, has developed Variotap IPs for testing the new generation of femtocell chips in co-operation with Picochip.
The product enables dynamic processor emulation tests (PET) for fault detection and diagnostic on board and system level, as well as supporting embedded Flash programming.
- Customers can utilise Goepel’s emulation capability for testing and programming in a fully integrated solution
- Product enables tests from the design stage through the product cycle to production
Since its standardisation as IEEE 1149.1 in 1990, JTAG/boundary scan has developed to become one of the most important test technologies. This white paper from Goepel Electronics analyses the current technology state, provides support in the systematic categorisation of available solutions and gives an outlook of the technology’s future.
Variotap from Goepel Electronic is a single, integrated platform for Emulation and Boundary Scan. It is based on special device models and is tightly integrated in the System Cascon development environment.
