The RCDT300 series of residual current device tester can perform 1/2I, 1xI and 5xI tests on RCDs rated at 30mA, 100mA, 300mA and 500mA on general and selective RCDs.
Portable appliance testing (PAT) is the visual examination and electrical testing of portable electrical equipment used in industrial, commercial or public access areas and locations (including rented property) to ensure they are safe to use, and cannot present an electrical hazard to the operator or anyone in their vicinity. Megger has published a short guide to PAT testing.
Megger has introduced the Smart Thump ST16 cable fault locator, which has been developed to meet the need for a safe, efficient, easy-to-use and competitively priced test set for identifying, pre-locating and pinpointing power cable faults. Typical users include power utility companies, LV street-lighting providers, private network operators, airports, ports, military bases, large industrial organisations and high-voltage electrical contractors.
Megger has launched its TDR2000/3 time-domain reflectometer, which is suitable for electrical contractors needing a fast and dependable tool for locating cable faults in street-lighting installations, street-level power distribution circuits and similar low-voltage systems.
Advanced Visual Test Software (AVTS) is designed to manage all aspects of protective relay testing using the new Megger SMRT or MPRT relay test sets.
