Schneider focuses on efficiency at energy forum

Schneider Electric

Electric Energy Efficiency Theatre

At the European Future Energy Forum 2010, Schneider Electric will host its 'Electric Energy Efficiency Theatre' and demo, which will inform users about energy efficiency initiatives and solutions.

Attendees to Schneider's conferences and visitors to its booth at EFEF 2010 will gain an insight into the company's commitment to solving energy issues and will experience the latest resources and solutions to optimise energy efficiency across the enterprise.

At EFEF, Schneider will introduce an industry-first customer Collaborative Project Portal - a private, online community that provides easy access to the people, information and technology to guide technical end-users through energy-management projects.

Free to all Schneider customers, the site is said to be the first project-management tool in the industry to provide real-time access to system engineers, web meeting capabilities and social networking features to decrease costs, expedite time to market and boost productivity on energy-management projects.

Schneider's Energy Efficiency Theater and booth will both focus on: the challenges of a smarter grid; Ecostruxure solutions for green buildings and Schneider's 'Save energy, share energy' initiative.

Two attended key sessions at the main conference will be the 'World future energy leaders panel discussion: bridging the gap between developed and developing nations' with Gilles Vermot-Desroches, senior vice president, sustainable development and 'Smart grids/super grids' with Philippe Delorme, executive vice president, strategy and innovation, Schneider Electric.
