PCB quality workshops
Three workshops for engineers and PCB laminate and assembly buyers on how to assess and maintain printed board quality will be held at the laboratories of ITRI Innovation in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
Each workshop will combine theoretical and hands-on sessions, and will be assisted during the laboratory-based practical session by the ITRI laboratory manager Dr Wayne Lam.
The following workshops will be held in early 2009: PCB Inspection and Quality Assessment - Practical Solutions on 24 March; Troubleshooting your Assembly Yields - On Site or Offshore on 25 March; Step-by-Step Electronics Failure Analysis on 22 April.
These workshops are aimed at PCB designers, process and quality engineers who specify and inspect printed boards, as well as suppliers and purchasing staff who are responsible for sourcing products and services in the UK or overseas.
The cost of a workshop session is GBP175 + VAT and includes refreshments, workshop notes and a set of colour wall charts featuring the most common PCB defects.
