IDAS two-way radio system
Icom has launched a microsite that graphically illustrates the benefits of its IDAS (Icom Digital Advanced System) two-way radio system and provides schematic examples of various scenarios.
The site is divided as follows: IDAS Homepage; IDAS Features - explains the principle benefits of the IDAS system, its calling features, the benefits of IDAS digital Trunking and using IDAS Conventional IP Networks; IDAS Products - showcases the IDAS product range, including digital handheld, digital mobile and digital radio repeaters; also includes details of Icom's RC-FS10 remote communicator, as well as Icom system products such as RMS-Net, i-LOC and i-READ, which are now part of the digital range; IDAS News Section - featuring the latest product and contract news; and IDAS Customer Case Studies - demonstrates the benefits customers are gaining from investing in IDAS.
The microsite highlights each new product in the IDAS range with the facility to download individual product leaflets.
There is also a show reel that offers customers the opportunity to watch an IDAS video.
Equipment is available in fixed-base, vehicle-mobile and handheld formats to suit a range of customer requirements.
