WorldSkills London 2011

WorldSkills London 2011 is an international competition where young people compete in vocational skills, including in the areas of engineering and manufacturing, and information and communications technology.

The event takes place every two years in a different country/region and this year’s 41st WorldSkills competition will be held from 5–8 October 2011 at ExCeL, London.

It will involve 1,000 competitors from more than 50 countries/regions competing in 45 vocational skills. The competitors are young people (generally aged 22 or under). Most participating countries will have held a series of regional heats before the selection of the national teams. Around 150,000 visitors are expected by the organisers of WorldSkills 2011.
