Webinar on how to properly test high-power LEDs
Keithley Instruments
Webinar
Keithley Instruments will broadcast a free, web-based seminar entitled 'Meeting the Electrical Measurement Demands of High Power High Brightness LEDs' on 26 May 2011.
The webinar will provide an overview of the electrical test equipment that is required to properly test today's high-power, high-brightness light-emitting diodes (LEDs).
Seminar participants will learn about: how large-die LEDs and LED modules are driving the demand for test equipment with greater power and pulse-width modulation; the proper cabling necessary for testing high-power LEDs; and the thyristor effect on LEDs and how to detect it.
The seminar is recommended for researchers, test engineers and test engineering managers who are involved in the development and production of high-brightness LEDs.
Webinar presenter David Wyban is an applications engineer at Keithley Instruments.
