Seminar will tackle the challenges of LTE
Livingston
Long Term Evolution (LTE) seminar
Test rental company Livingston, in conjunction with test equipment manufacturer Anritsu and research analyst firm Ovum, will host another seminar on the subject of Long Term Evolution (LTE).
Representatives of each of these organisations will give attendees detailed and enlightening presentations that tackle a variety of different test challenges relating to LTE implementation.
The event is designed to attract a diversity of industry professionals that have some role to play in the upgrading of current mobile network infrastructure, such as field engineers, contract installers, and project managers, right through to high-level executives.
Incisive market predictions will be given and topics such as cell coverage drive testing; new modulation techniques and antenna configurations; quality of service (QoS) evaluation; and dealing with interoperability issues will be covered.
According to Livingston, LTE represents the biggest change to mobile communications since the first handsets went on the market - meaning that setting the right test strategy to meet the challenges faced in this new landscape will prove vital.
For this reason, the company continued its seminar programme into 2011, to allow its customers to glean as much knowledge as possible off well-informed individuals of the industry, who will be advising on testing techniques and equipment sourcing.
