Saturn Electronics announces PCB design webinar
Saturn Electronics
PCB design webinar
Saturn Electronics has created a Thermal Management LED PCB Design webinar in response to its concerns over fabrication notes regarding materials selection.
The webinar features speakers from throughout the PCB supply line chain.
The company will review common call-outs that could cause risk of field failures, higher costs and extended production lead times.
The webinar will also offer instruction to include thermal management MCPCB design and fabrication methods that will increases the lifespan of an LED application by providing dielectric strength to the metal core PCB.
OEM concerns over the common failure mode of browning white solder mask will also be addressed.
Saturn will be reviewing the development of a Superwhite LED Soldermask that can not only withstand multiple heat cycles during the fabrication and assembly processes, but also while in the field.
