Boundary-scan test seminar
JTAG Technologies and Geotest have announced the latest European date for their series of boundary-scan enhanced functional test seminars.
Also sponsored by UK test and measurement distributor Amplicon, the event will be held at Northampton Town Football Club on 10 June 2009.
Speakers will include James Stanbridge, one of the UK’s leading authorities on boundary-scan test, and Victor Fernandes, European marketing manager for Geotest.
Topics will include: boundary-scan (IEEE Std.1149.1) principles; test and in-system configuration (ISC) possibilities with boundary-scan; development of functional tests based on PXI standard; and fundamental design for test rules for boundary-scan.
Demonstrations will include: functional test tools in combination with boundary-scan; and advanced high-level modules for function testing enhanced with boundary-scan.
Following the seminar, a functional test ’surgery’ will allow attendees the opportunity to discuss individual issues relating to circuit design and optimising layouts for boundary-scan testing.
