Epaq MR motion controllers include functions such as contouring and velocity profiling
Aerotech
Ensemble Epaq MR series of motion controllers
Aerotech has expanded its Ensemble range of multi-axis motion controllers with the Epaq MR series, which is suitable for applications ranging from general-purpose positioning to advanced motion and machine control.
The Epaq MR series features a choice of up to eight servo or micro-stepping drives housed in a 19in (48cm) 3U rack.
According to the company, the new motion controllers provide multi-tasking programming for five independent tasks of synchronised multi-axis motion and I/O thanks to their linear and circular interpolation, contouring, velocity profiling and electronic gearbox functions.
The Ensemble Epaq MR comes with Aerotech’s Integrated Development Environment (IDE) software platform for Windows.
