UL offers comprehensive scope for Energy Star
UL (Underwriters Laboratories)
Energy Star
UL offers comprehensive scope for Energy Star with EPA-recognised testing laboratories around the world that can perform qualification and verification testing on 29 Energy Star product categories.
The company is an EPA-recognised CB for 33 products, including: audio/video, battery-charging systems, computers, computer servers, displays, imaging equipment, set-top boxes and cable boxes, telephony and televisions.
UL is also prepared to expand manufacturers' Data Acceptance Programme (DAP) to include Energy Star requirements.
Combined with a safety DAP programme, manufacturers have the opportunity to choose between qualification testing performed at UL's EPA-recognised facilities, or at their own facilities, saving them time and money.
