National Instruments
802.11ac WLAN tester
National Instruments is offering early access support for 802.11ac WLAN device and chipset testing for its software-defined wireless test platform.
The test platform supports the testing of 802.11ax Tx and Rx WLAN chipsets and devices, as well as 802.11a/b/g/n devices.
It can also be integrated with National Instruments’ Labview system design software, which the company says can increase test throughput and decrease system costs.
Additionally, the testing system includes automated test development — using NI Labview, C or Microsoft Visual Studio — and can be offered with optional features for MAC including LDPC, STBC and AMPDU.
National Instruments will be exhibiting the 802.11ac WLAN tester at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, from 27 February to 3 March 2012. The company will be situated in Hall 2.0, booth 2B93.
Key specifications
- Supports the testing of devices of up to 4x4 MIMO
- Supports testing of devices with modulation formats up to 256QAM
- Works with signal bandwidths including 20, 40, 80 and 80+80 160MHz
