Tektronix's UWB Wimedia compliance test device has been selected by Testronic Laboratories, a leading test and certification centre, to provide Wireless USB interoperability testing.
Testronic Labs provides test services for high-speed communications technologies, and the Tektronix UWB Wimedia compliance test device - comprising the AWG7000 arbitrary waveform generator, the TDS6154C ultra-high-performance oscilloscope and UWB spectral analysis software - provides support for its activities.
Using the Tektronix UWB Wimedia test device, it is able to provide compliance testing and certification services for W-USB devices to its customers, allowing them to market products based on the Wireless USB specifications that are proven to interoperate with other certified products.
Features of the UWB Wimedia test device include user-defined IF frequency, parameter definition at Packet Group level, visual indication of hopping patterns, support for standard data rates or user-defined MAC-Header, among others.
The device also comprises DSA70000 real-time oscilloscopes and matching probes.
