Clare HAL 104
The Clare HAL 104 is said to be the first multi-function hipot electrical safety tester capable of undertaking all the electrical safety tests required in manufacturing and production environments.
The HAL 104, which will be launched at Electronica 2010, has been developed for multiple standards, production line and type testing applications in the avionics, appliance, lighting, defence and similar electronics manufacturing sectors.
It combines the performance of a multi-function production line safety tester with load and power-factor measurement for product energy consumption and rating assessments.
As well as incorporating key functional checks, the HAL104 meets the end-of-line electrical safety compliance tests required by the majority of national and international product safety standards.
A new range of HAL electrical safety test enclosures will be displaying at Electronica 2010.
These feature a modern ergonomic design to enable production personnel to carry out the safe and controlled electrical testing of a range of products in compliance with EN50191, which specifies safe working conditions for electrical testing.
The Cropico range of precision resistance and temperature-measurement instruments, including the D07Plus digital ohmmeter, the 3000 range of high-accuracy digital temperature indicators and DO5000 microhmmeters, will also be featuring at the event.
The Cropico D07 Plus is accurate to within 0.05 per cent, lead resistance errors are eliminated with the incorporation of true four-wire technology, while advanced features include seven selectable measurement ranges, extending from 0.1uohms to 6Kohms, in addition to a 10A measuring current.
It is capable of recording and storing 1,000 measurements, plus sequences.
There is an option for selecting continuous or pulsed current output.
