These compact, high performance systems and displays, with fanless operation, definable PC characteristics and touchscreen option with display sizes from 15" to 21", are certified to EN60601-1 and EN60601-1-2 and are suitable candidates for all medical and emergency service applications.
The fanless operation prevents the increase of airborne contaminants, and lends itself to noise sensitive situations e.g beside a patients bed.
The high performance 'Hercules Mobile Medical' is supplied with a Pentium M processor of 1.1GHz, making it nearly as powerful as a Pentium 4.
The mobile hand held PC is fanless and careful attention in design has ensured excellent thermals and reliability.
Unlike many touchscreens, this touchscreen reacts to the touch of a gloved hand making data input easy in all conditions.
Mobility is further enhanced by the expansion options of UMTS and WLAN cards making it Ideal for emergency response vehicles or for patient information on the fly.
The' Hercules Medical' is a high-tech fanless modular medicine PC, also featuring a touchscreen option for the input of data.
Alternative inputs are possible with traditional keyboard or mouse.
In dual head mode the medicine PC can be easily connected to either a second Standard display or the 'Hercules Medical Monitor' through its VGA connection, extending performance and potential applications.
Featuring a custom designed Aluminium housing, which provides completely sealed IP65 protection, the display can be disinfected and washed down, ideal for operating theatres, recovery rooms, radiology, air lock and sterilised areas.
Certified to EN60601-1 and EN60601-1-2, the Hercules Medical PC can be easily configured to meet customers' needs with processor options through to Pentium M, up to 2GB RAM, a range of HDD sizes and types, and display sizes from 15" to 19".
Fitted as standard are USB, 10/100BaseTx Ethernet, one parallel and four serial ports, two of which are galvanically isolated.
PS/2 connectors for keyboard and mouse, three free PCI slots and connectors for external floppy and CDROM also feature.
A Fibre-optic network card and a UPS are optional extras.
A graphics card can be added for the dual head features, which allows the size of the working desktop to be increased and used in conjunction with the monitors.
Completing the range, the 'Hercules Medical Monitor' is a high performance medicine monitor, featuring a custom designed Aluminium housing, which provides completely sealed IP65 protection.
Through its VGA connector the Hercules Medical Monitor can be connected to either a Standard PC or the Hercules Medical PC.
Optionally it can be used in dual head mode, with the Hercules Medical PC, extending performance and potential applications.
Available in a range of display sizes from 15" to 21".
The Hercules Medical Monitor is EN60601-1 and EN60601-1-2 certified, and can be freely configured to particular applications.
