Kistler offers improved combustion analysis system for engine development applications
Kistler Instruments
Type 2893A Kibox To Go
Kistler has updated its Type 2893A Kibox To Go, an in-vehicle combustion analysis system designed for applications such as ECU rapid prototyping, knock algorithm tuning, cylinder load balancing and indicated engine torque determination.
The Type 2893A Kibox To Go provides for the visualisation of parameters within individual engine cylinders, while its combustion diagnostic capabilities provide detailed analysis of engine behaviour under actual on-road conditions.
The system features amplifier modules, cylinder pressure sensors and adapters, current probes for injection and ignition timing, a crank angle adapter for crank sensor connection and a 1-Gigabit Ethernet interface.
Free to all existing Kibox users, the new Kibox To Go Cockpit software upgrade v.1.2.1 is designed to further improve engine combustion measurement and analysis capabilities
