GAO Tek launches nine-channel video multiplexer
GAO Tek
Model A0410002 multiplexer
GAO Tek has launched a nine-channel real-time colour video multiplexer for use in security monitoring, high-quality video conferencing and other closed-circuit television surveillance applications.
This multiplexer, model A0410002, provides high-resolution real-time video on all nine channels.
It features 50 fields per second in PAL mode and 60 fields per second in NTSC mode, an input of nine loops BNC, 1.0 Vp-p 75ohm and an output of one loop, 1.0 Vp-p 75ohm.
For VCR, the input is 1.0 Vp-p75ohm and the output is BNC 1.0 Vp-p75ohm/S-VHS.
It provides synchronous live, recording, display and playback capabilities.
Alarms are generated for signal loss and motion detection.
The alarm duration is programmable from two to 999 seconds, with four seconds as the default setting.
Video resolution is adjustable for each channel individually.
The new multiplexer is compatible with RS232 or RS485 interfaces.
Display modes include sequence switch, single picture, PiP, four pictures, eight pictures, nine pictures, freeze frame and zoom.
The nine-channel real-time video multiplexer is part of the company's range of quad processors and video multiplexers.
A more advanced model is the GAO DM2116, which is designed to transfer recordings of signals from multiple security cameras into one.
The range also includes the GAO 204-01S and GAO 204-01B colour video quad processors, which are designed for CCTV applications.
According to GAO Tek, the range is useful in video surveillance systems that have complex monitor display requirements.
