Digital multimeter displays two parameters at once

Fluke 8808A bench digital multimeter

Six dedicated setup buttons on the front panel of the Fluke 8808A bench digital multimeter make it fast and easy for production operators to follow a test procedure.

Fluke has introduced the 8808A bench digital multimeter, with 5.5 digit resolution, multifunction measurement capability and a dual display that enables users to measure two different but related parameters simultaneously, simplifying test and troubleshooting.

The Fluke 8808A has six dedicated setup buttons on the front panel that function as 'pre-sets' similar to those on a car radio, making it fast and easy for production operators to follow a test procedure without having to push multiple buttons.

A high/low limit compare mode with pass/fail indicators can help take the guesswork out of testing and help eliminate production mistakes.

Setup buttons with pass/fail test mode provide measurement consistency that can improve quality and efficiency in manufacturing test applications.

With measurement functions including volts, ohm, amps and frequency, the Fluke 8808A also provides the performance and flexibility required from a bench meter in R and D, development and service applications.

The Fluke 8808A has basic V DC accuracy of 0.01% and is the only meter in its class that features a dedicated DC low current leakage measurement capability.

It uses a high impedance input measurement circuit to take sensitive low current measurements of less than 2000uA with a resolution of up to 100nA, without loading the circuit under test.

The 2 x 4ohm function of the Fluke 8808A uses split terminal jacks that allow users to perform four-wire measurements using only two leads instead of four.

The optional 2 x 4 wire test leads make precise four-wire low-ohm measurements possible on miniature surface mount components.
