Aeroflex enhances Auto-Test II function
Aeroflex
3920 digital radio test set
Aeroflex has enhanced the Auto-Test II test function for its 3920 digital radio test set.
The Auto-Test II application now performs test functions as prescribed by the EIA/TIA-603 standard for testing any FM land mobile radio.
This option allows development groups, manufacturers and field service operations to verify that FM land mobile radios perform to specifications.
With the ability to program up to 30 channels, the 3920 with the TIA-603 test option allows the user to verify critical transmitter and receiver performance with the option to use PTT auto-key and de-key to automate radio testing.
Results are saved and can be printed directly from the 3920 to any printer.
The transmitter tests include frequency, power, FM hum and noise, audio distortion, audio frequency response, microphone sensitivity, modulation limiting and CTCSS.
Receiver tests include sensitivity (SINAD), audio distortion, audio sensitivity, hum and noise, audio frequency response, displacement bandwidth, audio squelch sensitivity and audio squelch blocking.
