Adept offers UEIPAC in UK and Ireland
Adept Scientific
UEIPAC
United Electronic Industries' UEIPAC (Programmable Automation Controller) is now available for the Cube, GigE Cube and Racktangle chassis from Adept Scientific.
The flexible UEIPAC lets the user match I/O and application requirements with up to 150 analogue or 288 digital I/O per Cube, 300 analogue or 576 per Racktangle.
Other features include: use of standard Linux kernel; Xenomai real-time support; program in standard C; Eclipse IDE support; the ability to develop on Linux PC or Windows PC in the Cygwin environment; it is rugged: tested from -40 to +85C, 5G vibration, 50G shock; open source, no royalties; it is ideal for HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) applications and single and multiple loop controllers; sample up to 576ks/s; runs eight PID loops >20kHz; AC, DC or battery powered; and use of the same C API product function calls used in Windows.
The UEIPAC is suitable for a variety of measurement and control applications, including: temperature control, remote vehicle control (UAV and ULV), hardware in-the-loop (HIL) and more.
The UEIPAC is also ideal for a host of embedded data-acquisition (DAQ) applications as it allows systems to be developed without the cost or the additional space required by an external host computer.
The UEIPAC 300 measures 4 x 4 x 4in (101.6 x 101.6 x 101.6mm) and offers three I/O slots.
The UEIPAC 600 measures 4 x 4 x 5.8in but provides six I/O slots and allows up to 150 analogue inputs or 288 DIO channels.
GigE versions of UEIPAC cubes are designated UEIPAC 300-1G and UEIPAC 600-1G for the three and six I/O slot versions respectively.
The UEIPAC 1200R is a 12-slot, 3U 19in rack-mountable PAC while the UEIPAC 600R is a six-slot half-rack.
A full description of the UEIPAC is available at United Electronic Industries' website.
The UEI product range is supplied and supported by Adept Scientific in the UK and Ireland.
