The one-day course aims to make professionals aware of their responsibilities with regards to REACH and help them to prepare a plan of action for their workplace.

As a result of REACH, chemicals must be registered with the European Chemicals Agency in order to be made or used in Europe — if a company’s materials are not either registered or exempt then it will be unable to import and export its goods within the EU.

The Wolfson Centre’s training event will provide an overview of possible requirements for a site, as well as a guide to getting started on a REACH review.

The course will take place at the University of Greenwich Medway campus in Kent on 28 February 2012, and costs £420 per delegate.
