RandS adds analogue options to ETL TV analyser
Rohde and Schwarz
TV analyser analogue options
Rohde and Schwarz has enhanced its ETL TV analyser with two analogue options that provide analogue video line analysis capability and video generator functionality.
The compact ETL analyses and generates analogue and digital test signals in a single box.
Transmitter manufacturers, network operators and service technicians can perform their most important measurements without additional equipment.
Despite the global switchover to digital TV, analogue networks are still being operated.
Some are being enhanced with transmitters to ensure better coverage, while others are being transitioned from analogue to digital operation.
During this transition phase, the two will operate in parallel.
The ETL options make it possible to carry out acceptance tests on analogue as well as digital transmitters.
The ETL-K202 option handles all video line analysis measurements.
The parameters of all common ATV standards are predefined for convenient setup and configuration.
Additional hardware is not required.
Clearly structured screen pages display measurement results so they can be read at a glance.
The ETL-K203 option generates a standard-conforming analogue TV signal that can be fed to the transmitter, and is also needed for video line analysis.
