Goepel introduces controller at Productronica
Goepel Electronic
SFX/ASL1149-(x) controller
Goepel Electronic has introduced the SFX/ASL1149-(x) controller, part of the Scanflex JTAG/Boundary Scan hardware platform, at the Productronica trade fair.
The range features three integrated interfaces for Gb Ethernet, USB2.0 and cabled PCI Express, and includes three models in different performance classes, A, B and C.
The models differ in the maximum TCK frequency (20, 50 and 80MHz, respectively) and in the degree of implementation of the enhanced Space chip set for high-performance scan operations.
The integrated Fastscale technology allows an upgrade of the controller's performance class on the fly, without fitting additional hardware.
Standard features on all Scanflex controllers include ADYCS II for signal-path delay compensation and Hyscan for dynamic splitting of serial TAP vectors and parallel I/O vectors.
The device can be online controlled by means of an embedded web server.
Goepel provides a bridge for PCI Express to Cabled PCI Express by a plug-in card.
The distance between PC and controller can be up to seven meters on basis of a respective standard cable.
In combination with additional modular Scanflex components, such as TAP transceivers (SFX transceiver) and I/O modules (SFX modules) LAN, USB and Cabled PCI Express controlled Boundary Scan systems with up to eight Test Access Ports (TAP) and 31 additional functional modules can be configured.
The SFX/ASL1149-(x) range is fully supported in the Boundary Scan Software System Cascon from version 4.5.2 on.
