FMS006-5100-0 low-profile card reader
Yamaichi Electronics has introduced the six-pin FMS006-5100-0 low-profile card reader for space-constrained applications.
The FMS006-5100-0 has a height of 1.4mm, meaning it can fit into small installation spaces.
The top-mount card readers are manually operated.
When inserted, the SIM card projects by 8.10mm.
This allows it to be removed conveniently.
The gold-plated contacts have two-point contacts to offer continuous contact reliability in case of vibration or shock.
The insulation body of the card reader is made of LCP, while the metal cover and additional ribs are made of SUS.
This ensures good stability and co-planarity.
The unit is mounted with SMT soldering on the top of the PCB (top-mount type).
The card reader is delivered on tape reel belts.
