TMD plans MPM launch at IEEE conference
TMD Technologies
PTX8207
TMD Technologies will release a microwave power module (MPM) at the IEEE's International Microwave Symposium, to be held in Boston, Massachusetts from 9-11 June 2009.
The PTX8207 includes a high-power mini-TWT for providing a wider frequency range and higher power than previous models.
The PTX8207 provides a mid-band power of 140W and an operating frequency range of 4.5-18GHz.
The MPM includes a high-performance modulator to permit pulsed or CW operation, which makes the PTX8207 suitable for radar, EW and communications applications.
It provides high efficiency and reliability and is ultra compact and lightweight.
All components are fully integrated, making installation of the MPM as a drop-in amplifier-block simple and safe.
The module has already generated considerable interest and has secured orders from Europe and the Middle East.
Demonstration units are available now for customer evaluation.
