Falcom SteppIII tracking device
Available from Texim Europe, the Falcom SteppIII is a configurable, smart tracking device, which can be fully adapted to user requirements.
Its main purpose is to act as a mobile client for various system solutions such as AVL, fleet management, vehicle security and recovery.
The device can operate fully autonomous and is able to interact using sensors and actors.
The SteppIII can be adapted to existing tracking solutions and can be configured to gather or exchange relevant information with servers or users directly.
For example, it can be used to send status reports or verbal alert messages directly via SMS to users and/or via TCP to tracking servers.
Combining comfort and security aspects, users can have regular voice calls as well as spy calls in emergency cases.
Driver's logbook and data logging functions are combined in the Falcom history feature.
Geo-fencing can be used to report violations of predefined routes or areas.
Other features include: high sensitivity satellite navigation; communication via quad band GSM; autonomous operation; car security and recovery, thief alert and motion detection; online tracking; territory management; remote administration and firmware update; and additional IO ports.
